What affects the price
- Course length
- A full pre-licensing program is many times the length of a renewal package, and is priced accordingly.
- Jurisdiction
- Required content differs between states, so the same course type can differ in size and price from one state to the next.
- Package or single course
- Renewal content is usually bought as a package; individual courses are priced on their own.
Support
Two kinds of help, kept separate on purpose
A question about fiduciary duty and a question about a broken login are not the same problem, and should not land in the same queue.
Instructional support
Qualified instructors answer questions about course content: a concept that has not landed, a scenario that seems contradictory, a topic you want pushed further.
Instructors do not tell you what your jurisdiction requires of you, and they do not make eligibility or licensing determinations.
Technical and account support
A separate team handles the platform itself: signing in, resuming a course, progress that has not saved, receipts and billing questions.
Technical support does not answer course-content questions. Those are routed to an instructor.
Transparency
What we will and will not claim
Regulated education attracts confident marketing language. We would rather be plain about what has actually been verified.
Approval and certification are different things
A jurisdiction approving a course is not the same as an industry body certifying it. We keep the two separate in our records and in what we publish.
Finished content is not a cleared course
A course does not open for enrollment because its content is written. It opens after its record is verified and the platform's own readiness requirements are met.
We publish verified records only
Approval identifiers and credit-hour statements appear only when they come from a verified record. Until then, the page says so plainly rather than hinting.
